Compare and contrast living at home and in the dormitory (final)
There are discrepancies between living at home and in the dormitory. Dormitory is a group life and I must consider other roommate’s feelings before I want to do something, but I can do anything I want to do in my personal place at home. Another difference between living in the dormitory and at home is the time management. Unlike living at home, I can not fully control the time for doing something, because I need to respect my roommates' feelings, especially when I want to do something at night. The next difference is about the food selection. In the dormitory I can choose any favorite food to eat, whereas living at home it is mostly decided by my parents. In my opinion, eating at home can provide us more nutrition but let us feel more relaxed. Studying in the dormitory and at home is also different. In the dormitory, we can discuss what we have learned in the school with roommates but living at home we can not do that. Finally, the costs for living in the dormitory and at home are different. Living at home, I can save a lot of money, whereas, living in the dormitory, I must be responsible for all kinds of bills and the rent. Even though living in the dormitory can help me to grow up and confront problems, if you let me to choose a place to live, I will choose to live at home because I feel more relaxed when staying at home.
